DLD maintains a remote studio structure of multi-talented designers with wide-ranging experiences and a unique, well-rounded design perspective.
David Lund, Owner
David has been working in the design industry in various capacities for over 25 years. The first ten were as a graphic designer in the newspaper industry at both the Pioneer Press and the Star Tribune. A career change led to a Master's degree in Architecture from the U of MN, and for the last 14 years, David has worked as both a commercial intern architect for local Minneapolis design firms and as a residential designer.
Starting in 2011, David started work at Target as an industrial designer. As a Lead Designer, he set business and design priorities while designing owned-brand furniture for kids, collections, and patio.
After founding David Lund Design [DLD] in 2007, he has focused exclusively on renovating and improving homes in Minneapolis, Edina and St. Louis Park. He has designed and managed numerous projects for clients, ranging from kitchen and bath remodels to large-scale additions, and new construction. He has a deep understanding of not only residential design practices but also the expectations and preferences of homeowners and homebuyers.
He has partnered with both clients and real estate agents during the home buying process to guide the selection of appropriate properties for investment and improvement.
