History
David has been working in the design industry for over 30 years. 

A decade-long career in the newspaper industry as a graphic designer at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Minnesota Star Tribune preceded a career change into architecture.

After receiving an Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota, David worked for 8 years as an architectural intern at Miller Dunwiddie and HGA, as a design team member on commercial projects ranging from aviation to higher education, and corporate headquarters.

What started as a side hustle in 2007, designing kitchen remodels for family and friends, soon became a new business. Founding David Lund Design [DLD] in 2009, he's spent the last 16+ years building a residential design firm focused on remodels, additions, and new homes uniquely tailored to the family's needs and surrounding neighborhood.

New Business Development
History
​With nearly three decades of experience at Target Corporation, Tara is a seasoned professional specializing in new business development at DLD. Throughout her career, Tara has remained relentlessly focused on the client and end-user experience, ensuring that solutions are always tailored to meet their evolving needs.

After starting her career in advertising and marketing, Tara spent a decade honing her keen eye for apparel design and product development. She blended creativity and product knowledge with brand management and strategic business planning,

Her desire to create meaningful connections led  into learning and development, where she focused on problem-solving and building effective solutions for fellow team members.

Later, passion for consumer-focused solutions led her to consumer insights. This allowed her to understand market trends and consumer behavior, ensuring that every strategic decision centered on the client’s perspective.

Now with DLD, Tara continues to leverage her diverse design and customer-focused background to identify new business opportunities, craft innovative solutions, and drive business growth.
