We love to entertain. We are big into inviting friends and family over and making a big meal. Our kitchen before was half the size and everyone loves to congregate in the kitchen so we were just snug in there. So we did the process of looking for a new home or working with a designer to kind of give us what we were really looking - a better kitchen.

We told David we love to entertain, we love to cook, we love the indoor outdoor feel, and that's when David drew up this amazing kitchen. Now the house flows from back to front and the sight lines are great. It's just much more open and relaxing.

​Sunday mornings are my favorite now. We have a record player in here. Ben is in here making eggs and bacon. Mikes and I are sitting here in the morning, enjoying breakfast and brunch together, where we used to go out for brunch we stay here cause there's nowhere better.

I was really impressed with being able to explain to David what we were looking for. He knew we were entertainers. He knew that we wanted an indoor outdoor feel, and then he came back and we were just amazed at how he nailed it. Just immediately we had a really good feeling from David. We trusted him and he brought in the builders. We had a really good vibe from them as well.

​It was pretty stress-free because he was there helping us move along, just making sure there we had met deadlines, and answered questions that we didn't even know needed to be answered.

​He was the person that kept us moving along.

Fresh Off the Farm

Wayne and Jenny share how their project unexpectedly and dramatically impacted their lives

David was hired to design our two story addition that included mud room, kitchen, master suite and bath.

He listened intently to our goals and tastes, then created a design that far exceeded our expectations. David made the selection process of various items ranging from countertops to plumbing fixtures fun given his demeanor and sixth sense for style.
